Bump. Plan is coming back to the surface again. I%ve found some gadgets I want to buy, and am thinking somewhere in the order of NZ$1100 (edited!) for the lot. I need to check this list is still up to date. Might be a couple of others too.

So. I guess I would consider this collection 'on the market', though there are some logistics involved as the collection won't be together in one place until April 09. (Auckland).

I'm aiming for around $1100, as that's a couple of hundred dollars discount on what the estimated values from AtU2 add up to - based on the NZD-USD conversion as of this week.

A few things to note - 'All Because of You' and 'Windows in the Skies' are in 3-single box set cardboard sleeves - from UK based in store promotions.

All are played once or twice, and condition of the sleeves and discs can be considered mint - though there is a little fading on the edges of some of the cardboard sleeved ones. They are 15 years old after all.

All 'pre 2004' singles have been boxed and stored since 2005.

I'll drop a note onto Zootopia as well.

Bump. Again! I'm back in the country and wanting to do this... also have Get On Your Boots' box set now. And out of habit, will probably get Magnificent as well.

Also have various U2 related cover story magazines dating back to the early 90's, plus that 87 time magazine cover, the more recent one with the Gates'...

And... a Vertigo Tour Black Leather Cover with the vertigo tour logo pressed into it - for going over an A4 (or 'Letter'?) size diary or notebook.

Anyone curious?

Is anyone even remotely interested? Would pretty much be open to all reasonable offers at this stage...
(FYI USD Value according to AtU2 in '07 was just over US$700, and it will be slightly more with the magazines, the super-deluxe-inflatable Popmart lemon (haha), the new album singles, and I'll even throw in an unopened deluxe copy of CD/DVD U2 18 Singles)

Now I'm getting gadget distracted again. And the market I think is changing... $NZ700 anyone?

I'm thinking I might be dreaming. (how much does he want for it? Castle quote, anyone) So, do I continue with the thought of ditching them all at very little, ie, $100? haha $300? ouch $500? Pretty good, but a bit too much anyway? or, do I keep The Joshua Tree, R&H, and Achtung Singles, and sell the rest in "by album" packs on TM or eBay.com.au Hmmmmm.

Just hold on to them - you'll never get what they are worth (i.e. anything near face value).

Do you have to move the Achtung Singles to get to R&H and then move that to get to JT? (keeping with The Castle theme..)
Timing - can you hold on until the tour gets announced - wouldn't it be better to sell then when U2 is in the forefront rather than now when everything is quiet and you have to rely on someone coming across your goodies. You've waited this long...

Yep. Timing is everything.

By the way. Doing this on the iPhone; I like the default board format for mobile. Nice!
