Though torn in two we can be one.
I will begin again,I will begin again.
New years day is the one for me.

Can I have second vote?
They're both great songs, why not let them both through? What'cha mean you're not allowed to do that?

I still haven't found what I'm looking for is a better song... very slightly, but on a few levels. Sonically, production, guitars sounds...the transition through the Unforgettable Fire really brought out the edge in The Edge. Lyrically, it's more personal and open, and not just the earnest ideas and grand gestures. It's more vulnerable too, actually, so it's a better song.
But, New Years Day is still one of the best (and arguably better live) songs U2 has... so... it just goes to show how good they both are, right?

Still tied after 48 hours! S**t! Casting vote time. Gimme a few minutes, this is a hard one.
Ok decision made. Both songs are favourites of mine but it has to be...NYD..simply for its drama, that piano and a remix of it is one of the most played U2 songs on my iTunes. So, I guess I like it more. Sorry to disappooint many. Now, the quarter finals are ready to go!
