Just bought a copy from Christchurch Airport, of all places (while in transit from Dunedin to Napier)!  I'm impressed that even an airport "kiosk" music store has the new album available on the morning of release.  They had heaps of copies available and, as they told me, they'd already sold about half a dozen of them.

And in 20 years time we'll all be saying "I remember MV bought his copy from Christchurch Airport" (but we won't know why - well, I guess you're going to cover the cricket in Napier but haven't they just left Wellington?).

I got mine at the big red shed where NLOTH is the album you can listen to on the head phones. Now I can have the album blasting out when I am driving the car!

I have ordered the Box Set which apparently was held up at Customs yesterday   I hope to get it today...but have been listening to it on U2.com for last week or 2. Its an amazing album...one of those albums you only need to hear once to know its a "classic"....does anyone know what the anser was on The Rock yesterday for the U2 competition? Would appreciate if someone could please tell me

Yeah, filming the ODI cricket in Napier today... which started at 2pm but has now been interrupted by rain! I'd flown up from Dunedin because we'd been down there for the domestic Twenty20 final... which got rained out completely without a single ball being bowled! The rain sure is following us around this season!

Oh well... since my camera position here at McLean Park is completely sheltered from the rain, and since I've got a wifi signal here, I'm gonna take the opportunity to catch up on U2 stuff.    I've just renewed my U2.com subscription! Had to be done.
