2-7.  Advertising and/or spam
Advertising items for sale that are in no way related to U2 will be regarded as spam and will be deleted.  Likewise, members may not post links and/or images that are intended to advertise or promote commercial products or enterprises.
2-7-1.  Selling/trading official merchandise

Officially released U2 CDs, DVDs, videos, and other items may be advertised for sale in the Collectors & Traders forums.  You may also post links to U2 items (excluding bootlegs) you have listed for auction on sites such as eBay and TradeMe. 

2-7-2.  Selling/trading bootlegs

Bootleg CDs, DVDs, and videos (etc.) may not be advertised for sale on these forums under any circumstances.  However, you are welcome to set up bootleg trades with other members.  Such trades must be done strictly on a non-profit basis (such as “one for one”, or “Blanks & Postage”).  Again, please keep these posts in the Collectors & Traders forums. 

Any link found to lead to a site that does not hold to the same standards as these guidelines will be subject to deletion.  Members posting such links may be subject to a warn, or other measures.

2-8-1.  Links to official recordings

Please do not post links to U2 audio or video downloads if the material has been (or is due to be) officially released, and is (or is due to be) available for purchase from retail outlets or online music stores.

Links to unofficial U2 “bootleg” material available for download may be posted in the appropriate forum(s).

 2-9.  Multiple posts (flooding)

Please do not "flood" the forums with an unusually or excessively high number of posts over a very short period of time.
